Dr. Patrick Nyaga was born and raised in a small village in Embu – Kenya, Africa. After graduating from the Teacher’s Training College, he worked as a school teacher until 1988 for the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), a government branch of the “Ministry of Education” in Kenya. He later resigned and came in the United States in 1991 where he currently and permanently resides as the United States citizen with his family.
After he arrived in the United States early in 1991, he become an active member of Family Worship Center Church (FWC) in Lakeland, Florida. He served faithfully in that church for over 17 years. He was ordained as a minister and a pastor by Pastor Reggie Scarborough – Sr. Pastor at Family Worship Center Church in Lakeland, Florida (FWC). After being ordained, they launched a church in Tampa – Florida in 2011. Patrick Nyaga is now the Sr. Pastor of Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) Worship Center in Tampa, Florida here in the United States.
Passion And Ministry
Dr. Patrick Nyaga spent hundreds of hours studying after Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin’s ministerial materials as well as other God’s Generals including Rev. Smith Wigglesworth and Rev. George G. Lake. He followed Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. Ministry since his arrival here in the United States in 1991. The connection came through his pastor, Reggie Scarborough who remained very close to Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. until his (Rev. Hagin) transition into Haven in 2003. Kenneth Erwin Hagin is the founder of Rhema Bible Training Center and Kenneth Hagin Ministries. Kenneth E. Hagin is referred to as the father of the modern Word of Faith movement with nearly seven decades of ministry. He has a great influence on Christianity through his ministerial materials in circulation globally. Tens of thousands of Rhema graduates are ministering in over 100 countries. His ministry has distributed 65 million copies of books written by himself or his son, (Rev. Kenneth Hagin Jr.). Radio and television programs continues to air world wide to-date through his ministry under Kenneth Hagin Jr..
Since and during the 17 years that Dr. Patrick Nyaga was attending and serving at Family Worship Center Church, he continues to travel as a missionary back and forth internationally and especially in Africa. His charge is to mainly reach out to church leaders in the nations providing the Biblical training essential to effectiveness in ministry.
Further Education – Doctoral in Theology
In the year 2016, through the approval of Dr. Douglas Wingate, the founder and president of Life Christian University – here in the United States, Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) Worship Center was awarded an opportunity to launch a Life Christian University extension campus at their church location. Pastor Patrick was then awarded a scholarship to further his studies up to doctorate level.
As a founder of Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) incorporated, a trans-national organization based in the United States, he is instrumental in helping train church leaders as well as helping leaders both locally and internationally to establish / plant churches as well as in ministerial facilitation. Bishop Angelo Njagi, his blood brother is the founder and director for Missions for Christ Ministries (MCM) – Africa. He is also the founder and the overseer of MCM churches in Kenya, Africa.
Global Missions And Outreaches
Since Missions for Christ Ministries’s inception in 2001, Dr. Patrick Nyaga has played a key role in founding Kenya Bible Training Center (KBTC). Kenya Bible Training Center Bible school was founded in Africa in 2006 under the auspices of Missions for Christ Ministries, Inc. With counsel and plans initiated again by Pastor Reggie Scarborough the Sr. Pastor, Family Worship Center, Kenya Bible Training Center (KBTC) was launched in 2006. Bishop Angelo Njagi was appointed as the KBTC School Director since its inception. Before the school closed down in the year of 2010, it had trained over one hundred and fifty church leaders representing more than thirty five different denominations from Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Burundi and Rwanda. Most of these KBTC graduates are currently continuing the work of the ministry in their communities.
Dr. Patrick Nyaga’s passion for ministry remains stronger more than ever before. He believes that because of the soon and 2nd coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, there is a need to reach out and NOT only help ministers and ministries through global outreaches and Bible teachings but that all church leaders should make it an ultimate goal to focus on winning souls into the Kingdom of God. “That is why I founded Missions for Christ Ministries Global Outreaches (MCMGO)” Dr. Patrick Nyaga says.
